Dr. Ivan Salgo

Vice President, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer, ASP Global

Dr. Ivan S. Salgo, M.D., M.S., M.B.A., serves as Vice President and Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), where he leads efforts to generate and communicate evidence on sterilization and disinfection processes.

Passionate about preventing Hospital Associated Infections, Dr. Ivan brings extensive expertise in healthcare analytics, including patient deterioration assessment through digital biomarkers. His background includes co-investigating cardiac surgical interventions with prestigious institutions like Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and holding key roles in cardiac anesthesiology and echocardiography at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Christine Delebecque-Denis

President, WFHSS

Dr. Christine Delebecque-Denis, PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Lille, is a leading expert in hospital pharmacy and sterilization sciences. She has managed the CSSD at Lille's Public University Hospital since 2002, overseeing a state-of-the-art facility.

Dr. Christine is the President of the WFHSS, co-founder of SF2S, and an expert with AFNOR. She has taught at the University of Lille since 2002 and has delivered numerous lectures at international congresses. She has also led lifelong learning courses on best practices in sterilization since 1992, contributing significantly to global sterilization standards.
